Needle and Bear was launched in 2025 by The Quilted Bear. It is the latest step for our small, second generation, family-run business. Founded in Bristol, England in 1992 as an independent haberdashery store, we have over 30 years of experience and over time we have evolved into a primarily online business based in Clevedon, North Somerset.

Internationally recognised for our high-quality own brand range, we are proud to also sell a wide selection of products from industry-leading names, including Clover, Prym, Olfa, Dylon, and many others. Each year, we exhibit at some of the leading specialised shows the UK has to offer. This provides an opportunity for us to meet and hear from our valued customers.

We created Needle and Bear with a purpose. We endeavour to deliver an extensive range of high quality products, direct to consumers at competitive prices, while offering an outstanding service for our customers. You can expect all the products you know and love, and even find new, innovative products, all designed to give you a creative edge and stand out from the crowd. You play a vital role in what we do, as we value our customers’ feedback, and we will continue to use your input as part of our process of designing, developing, sourcing and the continuous updates we implement to our range. We will continue to work with local craft and quilting groups to support our testing of products in order to improve our range of products.
